964 tire upgrade.

Hello Pelican's

i'm in need of some help. I just purchased a 964 c4 what came with 17inch Cup wheels (i believe they are 17x7 and 17x8).
the tire sizes are 205/50/17 and 255/40/17.

I was thinking of upgrading the front to 215/45/17. Would that be a terrible idea? Here is pics of how the car sits. I may lower it an inch more in the future.

Thanks for the input and opinions!

You could go with 225 front and 255 rear without any problems, depending on the offset of your wheels. Perhaps some 5mm spacers.

Michelin pilot sport ps2 , not cheap , but amazing in the rain just like on dry pavement. You want the 225 in front and 255 in rear , Newsboy is right. Expect to change 2 Times your rear tires for 1 set in front I also know Michelin just released a new version of this tire (PS2) but i cant Tell cause i never tryed them.
