original Becker cr-220 with sound issues

hello all, need your help please. i have a 90 964. original radio receiving no radio signal. i took radio out of dash and cable has been manipulated to the point where a new one is desperately needed. i need to find the amplifier. all indications say under hood, passenger side. i don't see it....is it under something else that i need to remove?

also passenger side woofer and tweeter no sound....bad booster? bad crossover? before i start taking things apart wanted some advice.
