Locktite 574 or.....?

I'm replacing a couple oil lines and was suggested by Andial to use Loctite 574 on the fitting and oil line. I can't find this anywhere! Do you guys recommend anything else? Somebody said to use teflon (plumbers tape). I couldn't imagine using teflon on a P! Any suggestions or opinions are greatly appreciated!

Joh, I couldn't imainge using Loctite on oil lines, but then again I'm not Andail whose employees have probably forgotten more about P-cars than I know.

Wayne recommended teflone tape for oil sending units, and that is what I am going with.
Here is a link about case sealants that may help.

Loctite comes in *many* different flavours, and if Andial recommend it, I'd be inclined to use it.
www.mcmaster.com will sell you just about anything like this you could ever possibly want.

I found some Loctite 574 at Mesa late yesterday afternoon. I heard it's more of a sealant and was also recommended by other P mechanics. I went ahead and used it.

Paul, congrats on your three six. I'll need to stop by and check it out. I decided to go with the GHL exhaust and I should have it in by tonight if all goes well. The car looks different now with the new wheels and lowering.
