fixed my dash lights aka Xmas tree
I wanted to share
New spark wires new spark plugs New rotor caps New rotors Voila All is better - no lights. No issues. |
Coils are also culprits. It's normally coils or worn wires or connectors. New coils fixed mine instantly and it hasn't occurred since.

^+1, years ago. Tried everything else, replacement coils solved the problem.

This is such valuable information. I've never changed my coils. It's the first thing I'll do if that happens. Man I love this forum.

I replaced my 964 coils with the 993 coil pack with excellent results. The 964 Silver coils available today are pure garbage

My car was stalling when I stopped at a traffic light. I checked the forums and someone mentioned changing the battery fixed their stalling. I put in an Optima Yellow top battery and the car never stalled again. Who would ever think that ignition coils would cause your dashboard lights to light up all at once? I would chase that problem for a very long time and spend a lot of money before I thought of changing the coils. Between forums and Youtube everyone can be the best mechanic in the world. lol Pelican is great, but Rennlist has a bigger 964 community. The answer to everything 964 is on Rennlist. |
