turbo charing M64-01
Hello pelican friends
i started my winter project, I thought it would be easy but the Porsche's gods were laughing at me. my intention was to take M64-01 naturally aspirated and to turbo charge it. the way i meant to do it by fitting 3.6 P&L from the M64-60. ARP studs and a big precision 6062 i have a prefect condition liners and piston. i took apart the engine and that's when hell broke lose ..... ![]() i took apart all the necessary parts and the first thing that i noticed, was that the piston does not fit the rod. i need to shave the sides of the wall near the rod approximately 2 mm on each side . the turbo liners are 3 mm shorter than the regular ones. ![]() ![]() i intended to use la mance head seal . ![]() i need advice , has anyone did that kind of modification to that kind of engine? does any one have any advice for me how to solve the problems that i'm facing ? |
