Frunk / Engine Lid / Interior Lights out 993

Wondering if anybody has had the same issue with 993 Frunk, engine light and Interior Cancelling Lights....? Frunk light out, engine light out & Interior Lights do not cancel in the 3rd. position --- 1st position Interior lights go on fine...? Checked the fuse, ok. sprayed contact cleaner on the front & rear switches/mechanisms - still no love.

Bad ground? Likely causes?

Reason why this came up : trying to program my key fob and per instructions the Cancelling interior lights must work. sigh....

My bulbs were not making contact, the PO had put tape on the bulb ends. After installing the lights and going through the key fob program multiple times I have a programmed fob.
To leave the trunk lids up, just push the latch to the closed position to turn of trunk lights.

Don't mean to hijack but any can anyone share their best key fob programming procedure (that actually worked). The interwebs are filled with so many different methods.

**just to update this for anyone in with future searches with the same issue**

To my knowledge, the immobilizer is allowed a maximum of 4 fobs total. To add any more, it must be cleared to zero and each fob reprogrammed from scratch. That was the issue with mine...

I finally gave up and handed the car over to John & Paul at Protosport in NJ (great guys!). Had the car back with multiple working key fobs in a matter of hours.
