Porsche Crest Porsche 993 Seat Malfinction

The driver's seat in my 95 993 goes sideways when I move it forward and back. the height adjustment for the front and rear of the seats seem to be working fine. Could someone please let me know if its a cable issue or more of a motor issue that is causing the problem. It was working fine earlier today but when I went to adjust it this evening that is when I encountered the problem.

Thanks
Kyle

Dmitry,
I looked at that information before posting the thread. I checked the drive cables and they appear to be fine, and the motor seems to be working as well. Both cables are turning when the motor is engaged but the seat continues to twist to the inside when I move it forward and back.
I have also checked to the best of my ability the seat tracks to see if there is anything stuck in them that could be causing the problem. I would like to remove the seat but it is difficult since I can't get easy access to the seat bolts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kyle

Hello Kyle

I had the same problem, the cables and motors looked fine, I turned out to be one of the cables wasn't pushed in all the way, and not engaging with the motor, I would start there.

Helio,
I was able to get it fixed today and that is exactly what it was. The cable on the right side of the seat was not all the way in where it attaches to the seat rail. Once it was in properly, everything worked like it should.
