My 964 Carrera 4 1991, power steering needs a flush and bleed. I read the article, nice and complete, the question.
1- Can I use Pentosil in my 964?
2- It is really necessary to change the oil reservoir.

Hello Francisco - it is not necessary to change the reservoir unless there is debris in the system (such as from a failed pump or such). The current OEM version of Fluid is Pentosin CHF 202.

Dmitry, how many liters of Pentosin, I need to correct flush the system? Thanks

Turboman, I believe the whole system holds about 1 litre. Draining/removing the fluid container will only remove part of this. To basically replace all the old fluid with the gradual replacement drain method I would say you need about 2 litres. What does the existing fluid look like?

Paperboy, thanks.. The actual fluid looks dark, but the system have no leaks or damp areas.
I want to change the fluid using Pentosin, cleaning at the same time the fluid container.
