Build complete... with V8 (not for the purists)

Here is the build, a year after the CHP rear ended my car, we ended up putting a V8 in there and doing a lot of custom work to make the car perform at a very high level. 410 HP to the wheels, everything is solid now... enjoy the pics!

Supercool...

Would love a 911 with a cheap to fix motor... ;)

Enjoy, looks like a lot of love went into it...

Nice! Do you have a build thread?

verticalflight 09-26-2017 01:56 PM

Damon unfortunately not on this one

man that 911 would be so cool with a 3.8 engine in it ;)

JKJK, kick ass car! I'm not the biggest fan of conversion cars, however its really hard to argue with the rebuild costs, parts availability and power gains from the ls engine. A stock rebuild is hard pill to swallow financially.
this car looks like it was really well done both inside and out- I would love to see a video of her coming up.

Totally dig and appreciate all the work you’ve done! Amazing car and Sprint did you well. I’m taking mine in for something different for suspension.

Yes Sprint Autoworks in San Jose did all the work and they have been great to work with... lots of custom fabrication went into this build and they did the whole thing! Highly recommended

gejay 09-29-2017 11:24 AM

Yeah, can’t agree enough. I’ve taken my other cars there and they’re a one stop shop.

Looks familiar? haha....and where did you get your headlights and yellow covers?

Hey Kris! On a positive note, for you purists, the original engine from this car now powers the Captain!

verticalflight 09-29-2017 11:53 AM

Ha Erik... that's right... the RWB's original motor was sacrificed so Capt Kaos could live on.

gejay, I bought them on here, LEDs with yellow lenses option. It was a few years back however. Maybe search "singer headlights"

Thanks, Kris. Just saw James today to drop off my car and he kinda mentioned you got another toy. [emoji1598]
