Engine case sealant

Hello;

Iīll appreciate your advice and your experiences around engine case sealant.
My 964 C2 (1992) is under complete rebuild process and itīs almost done. The point is that my mechanic used Loctite RTV5699 to seal the engine case and I read every where that the correct sealant is the Loctite 574.
At this point, Is it a real problem, should I ask to my mechanic to dessamble completely the engine to seal it again with the 574?

Which are the risks of leave it with the RTV5699?

I took my time to read the complete thread, so we are going to procede to open again the engine and seal it again with the Loctite 574.

I think some of the pros, especially in that sealant thread, recommend using Threebond 1104 for the engine case perimeter...
When I re-assembled my motor last year, I used the 1104 around the perimeter, and it is still bone dry today.
