993 Throttle Body?

I have what I thought was a 993 throttle body. However it is covered in 964 part numbers. The throttle body has the number 964 110 128 0R .

I cant find these numbers anywhere - perhaps a casting number? I have attached a picture of the throttle body. Thanks for any help in confirming that it is 993 part as I have someone interested in buying it and I do not whish to misrepresent it.

Thanks!

I agree 964 M64.01 or .03
the throttle body part # is actually 964.110.128.00

As always - thanks for the reply Bill.

I have two throttle bodies. One has the part number 964 110 017 0R. The other is 964 110 128 0R. They look to be made of different material. Possibly one is magnesium and the other may be aluminum.

I am guessing one is a later version?
Sorry Flyingfrenchman, I thought I had a 993 throttle body for you.

The early version of the 964 t/b for a manual trans had part # 964.110.901.00 for tip it was 964.110.901.30

I have corrected my typo in the first post.

Something interesting is that the one with the part number 964 110 017 0R is a single piece of what may be magnesium or dark aluminum.

The one with 964 110 128 0R has the throttle body separate and the remainder is plastic.

Is it a case of one being newer?

It looks like I have two 964 plenum and throttle body setups.
