996 Ducktail
I put a fiberglass ducktail on my 996.2. I get an error that my power tail isn’t working.
If I remove the tail relay will it go away? I connected the original tail brake light 2 wires to my duck tail’s 2 wires and my car’s regular center brake light doesn’t work is there an other wire in the power tail that is part of the stop light circuit. ![]() Dog |

You will need to buy a new harness for a spoiler 'delete' in order to avoid the warning light
At least this is what I had on my C4S that came with a fixed GT2 wing. It had different harness than the OE one.

I got it from vertex, it was expensive at $1,700 and has some fitment issues, but it looks the most like the Porsche Classic duck tail on the 996 Porsche they built for PCA. The left lower edge sits proud by a 1/2 inch. I plan on bring it to a body shop this week to see if they can fix. It.

Did the tail come already primered, ready to paint? Or, did you have to do a little finishing up on it?
Thanks, Steve |

It came fully primed in black as you see it on the car.
