996 C2 tires for street/track

I've worn out my Michelin Pilot Supersports and wonder if anyone is using the PS4S for street (70%) HPDE Track (30%). Carrera has GT3 suspension with stock 18" turbo-twist rims. I'm not looking at Cup2 or R-compounds since I drive more on streets than tracks and prefer not to have another set of wheels for track only.
I run in intermediate or advanced groups and sometimes instruct. I am old fashioned and drive to tracks, do not trailer, so I drive only at 8/10ths or 9/10ths so that I can drive home.


Reviews seem good on the PS4S as a replacement for the SS but thought I would ask for the wisdom of the forum as added research.

Just bought a set of PS4S, haven't tested them yet But I would think for the price you would want something cheaper made more for the track due to the wide tread grooves.
