What is the drain tube located under the passenger's feet behind the passenger side wheel?

I forgot to mention that the drain tube I am referring to is on a 2002 996 cab.

Thanks. That makes sense. The confusing thing to me was that the tube feels oily and the discharge on the cardboard on the floor underneath left a stain that didn't look like water. But I'm sure your right.
