997.1 Shifter replacement
Hi, Pelicans. I have been looking for a Tiptronic shifter solenoid DIY for my 06 C2S. The key keeps getting stuck and the car thinks its not in park when it is. Dealer looked at it a few days ago and said almost positive it's the solenoid and suggested replacing the whole Tiptronic shifter. I am pretty handy so I would like to try to replace the solenoid (or the whole shifter may be easier to replaced) Does anyone have a picture of the solenoid? I wonder if it actually is part of the shifter? Thanks.

Is it a solenoid or a limit switch on the lever ?
Ask in the 996/986 forum , they will know . |
