owner's manual shelf
I bought a 2001 996 recently and it came without the little owner's manual shelf. I realize most owner's have ripped those out because they felt they got in the way under the dash, but I would like to acquire one. If any one has a gray shelf they would like to part with, please let me know. Thanks to all.

You might try a dismantler like Parts Heaven in CA or D.C. Auto in NC.

Thx, I'll give them a try. I tried another outfit in CA, but no joy. Figured I'd ask on the forum to see if I had any luck.
