Bilstein Shocks
I have a 2002 996 C2 with OEM shocks and springs.
Looking to replace the shocks with Bilstein B6, but have a hard time finding some in Canada. B8's are available. Can I use the B8's OEM springs? |

No...sort of. B8's are designed to work with shorter "sport springs" so they will probably "work" with stock springs, but not optimally/as designed... not recommended.

I'm currently getting ready to sell a Bilstein B8/H&R sporto spring setup for C4 as I just got a set of KW Variant 3 coilovers. It'll probably be close to a month before they're available (I'm going to be out of town for a week and then I have to actually change them out), but figured I'd give you a heads up... The B8's have a little less than 10k miles on them.

I also have B8/H&R combo. dporto is right, they are made for the lowering springs. I may stand to be corrected, but I don't think C4 ones will fit on a C2, I made the mistake of getting C4 springs the first time around for mine and they were way off.
