Coolant change
I am attempting to change the coolant on my 996. Crawling under the car, I can see the radiator hoses that feed the supply and return lines. However, I can only get to one spring clip on each hose, without removing the transmission support bracket to release the other clamp, which I don’t want to do. The 101 Projects Manuel claims this is a fairly straightforward project. Because of the difficult accessibility of both clips, I don’t see this job as straightforward and easy. Has anyone else experienced this same problem? Would appreciate any advise before plunging in, and will weigh before just taking the car to a shop and letting them deal with it. Also is using the recommended Porsche coolant (pink) absolutely imperative? Thanks
