6MT Syncros

I have an 06 C2S. The shifting was becoming increasingly “notchy”. I had the gearbox oil changed (PTX 75W-90). The engine mounts replaced and shifter cables adjusted. Slight improvement yet I was informed that the fifth gear synchronizers were bad and a little worn on some other gears. My question is. How can I best prolong the unfortunately inevitable Gearbox rebuild. Car is a daily and adult driven and not tracked. TIA.
