996 C4 Bilstein B4 strut length query

Hi - I have '01 996 C4 with 65k mils, I just replaced all suspension parts, and upgraded to Bilstein b6's - turns out they are too firm for me, especially with the crappy roads around my house. I now have the B4's to install, but noticed the the strut length is 23cm shorter than the factory strut. when i check the part nbr on-line, 22-113344, they are the same for C4 with or without sport suspension. Not sure how that can be, given the ride height and springs are different. Before I do the replacement - can anyone advise that its ok or not to install these shorter struts? The rears are the same, so I don't want to end up with a car lowered in the front and stock in the back, or replace the struts 3 times! thanks...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1619858586.jpg

That is interesting. Are they shorter than the B6 or the stock? I would have thought they would be the same with ride height dependent on Spring choice.
