How to take car of conv. top
Besides cleaning and treating the fabric what else can I do to make the top last?
Is it better to have the top up most of the time? Does moving the top up and down accelerate deterioration?

Get a soft brush and clean the top often. Dirt in the folds when down accelerates wear. I frequently vacuum mine and use a sticky roller to clean it. I also use Porsche’s top protective/preservative in spray can.

Do you go through the whole process of cleaning the top once a year or do you just make sure it is dusted and then just apply another protective coating?

Ragg top cleaner or equivalent with a soft brush, Porsche protective spray, at summer’s end. Also Porsche spray after normal wash during the season.
