Request for Shifter Measurement

Hopefully someone has easy access to a manual shifter for a 996/997/boxster/cayman. I'd need to know the diameters of the metal balls that connect to the shifter cables (in the center console, not at the transmission). I expect them to be approximately 10 mm to 15 mm in diameter. These have detachable plastic connectors which connect to the shifter cables. I'm hoping to be able to use the plastic pieces on another car project, but would prefer to not buy the parts if they are not the right size.

Only one connector piece is attached to the ball coming from the shifter itself.
The other one is attached to the lever with some sort of plastic rivet.
The ball from the shifter is 10 mm.
