997 - wet on the inside!

Now that the weather has turned colder my 997 is wet on the inside. In fact I have had nearly as much ice on the back window on the inside as the outside! The front window is damp as well. This is highly annoying .... any ideas ... door seals maybe?

Is the car parked inside or out ? Is it a cab or coupe ? Run your hands across ALL carpets to see if they are wet .

The 986 Boxster that I have has 7 different drains -- 3in the front in the tray under the battery, and 2 on either side in the back (2 in the rain gutter either side of the cover for the roof, and 2 in the foam tray under the hinges. I suspect that the 996/997 are similar -- especially in the front. Make sure that they are all clean and not clogged with leaves, pine needles and such. The best way to clean them out is with a vacuum. Pushing debris down the drains is not advised -- far better to vacuum the debris up.
