996 abs psm

Hi Guys,
Need your advice. I am usually posting in the 993 Forum and I am not really familiar with the 996. We are building a first time a 996 Turbo race car for a Friend and just recognized a problem that we did not consider at the beginning of this project
The car is 996 NB with a 996 turbo engine and will be used only on track. The problem is it's 996 Turbo ABS PSM unit which interferes with the 2WD set up of the car.
I was thinking of replacing the ABS PSM unit with a 996 GT2 ABS control unit but I am not sure if that would solve the problem or create another problem.
In addition to that the 996 GT2 ABS Control unit (996.355.955.93) is above $3K. I would like to remove the PSM somehow from the Control unit.
I am sure couple of you guys already modified your cars from 4WD to 2WD or did simmilar mods and ran probably into the same issue.
I really would appreciate it if anybody could give me an advise how to solve this issue.
Thanks
