I have become interested in looking into purchasing a 996TT as these cars have now dropped to an affordable price range for me.

Not sure wheather to consider a cab or coupe, manual or tip trans. All these option have the advantages and disadvantages. I think the X50 options would be mandatory. The cab would be nice occasionally but not ideal for DEs. The tip is better in traffic and my wife would prefer it to the manual; not that she would drive the car much.

I'm interested in hearing what the major issues of these cars are.. Thanks!
