Conceptual Wheel enhancements

I absolutely love this '02 996 Turbo. That said I'm not a huge fan of the Turbo Twists. After researching sellers of wheels from retailers as well as private offerings for "sweet looking wheels", I am discouraged that most are for changing to 19" which means tires as well.

Soooo... I have been considering "painted approaches"... My primary goal is to give the stock wheels a deeper look as well add some offsetting color to the cars WHITE body color. Here is the look I am thinking I will pursue. It gives the wheels a much taller and deeper look. The black is a excellent accent against the Carrera White. Opinions welcomed. Be nice... this is a PhotoShop sample. There are some amazing wheel paints out there nowadays that will hold up very well.

Use plastidip and experiment to see what looks best. Its so cheap and so easy you can try painting different parts of the wheel and/or try several colors to see what you like best. Maybe painting the entire wheel will look even better. Then get them powder coated your favorite color.

Because the ride height is so high compared to my other cars the wheel/tire looks smaller then you might prefer to fill up the wheel well. All black isn't my taste, all white isn't bad and is an alternative consideration. This approach seems to add something and will be my first stab at it. Plastidip is the product that's been recommended by others who should know so I will probably try that. Need to either make an effective templet or do some major taping.. Stay tuned

Conceptual time is past... Here's the end result after painting spaces between spokes with recommended product. Thanks to all who provided input!
