996 suspension, body mount bushings

I am assuming the front and rear suspension has bushings which connect to the car's body. I have a street car (914 W/complete 996 suspension front and rear, LS1,G-50) and am wondering about the use of the factory bushings vs solid aluminum ones. I get the advantages of stiff but as far as a street car goes what about the amount of vibration felt between the two ? How much difference do you 996 owners experience when going to solid ?
