Road damage.

Hello all,

So it happened to me last week. I was driving to my son’s college and while on the interstate I was passing three tractor trucks. On my left was the dreaded concrete barriers we have all grow to love. As I approached the car in front of me in my lane a large rubber item shot out from under the vehicle. I hit the brakes, the item landed in the road with only enough time for me to square up and center the car over the item. It sounded like I hit a body. Attached are a few pictures of the damage. I have been able to clean most of the black rubber off and I will keep the bumper for a spare. The question is what do you guys think about installing a GT3 front bumper on my 996 4S. I never really liked the OEM bumper and had toyed with the idea before but now I have the chance I never wanted. Any suggestions or better ideas?
