FS: 2001 C2 MKI GT3 Tribute Car

Hi all,

I am selling a project I have been working on for the past few months and wanted to share the link. I would truly appreciate it if you could spread the word and share.

Price is very negotiable, the car is a complete head turner. It can be driven as a daily driver or weekend toy. Drives flawlessly, turns into a different animal when you open her up. By far one of the best builds I've ever done.

My last build was a '12 Charger General Lee tribute from the Dukes of Hazard and this is by far better in every way.

Thank you very much.

uummm...looks truly great but it's far from a 100% complete GT3 clone without a Metzger engine...it certainly shouldn't be advertised as a GT3. Maybe 50% complete would be more accurate....or 100% aesthetically complete.

Not trying to be a b!tch but the motor makes a GT3, the cosmetics are the least of it.

That said, looks good and it's priced very well - good luck with the sale.

I think you may want to rethink those clone HP and TQ figures.

It will be interesting to see how you do with this. You obviously put a lot of work in. I see tribute cars as more appropriate when the car you are paying homage to was not so significantly differentiated by its mechanical enhancements. As mentioned earlier, you built a "GT3" without the mezger and with a Tip. When I was into classic mustangs, GT clones were the norm. Given those were pretty easy to do with primarily cosmetic upgrades, they made more sense to me. This doesn't. GLWS though, it is pretty.

All that money spent, and it is still an M96 power plant (with dubious power numbers), and the factory IMS bearing. Good luck..............
