New to group

Sold my 77 930 and bought a 2007 C2S. Never thought I'd have a water cooled Porsche, working A/C and cruise control but I love it. I have a kick ass 914-6 for when I need that end of the spectrum. I look forward to being a member here.

My main mission now is to figure out how to wire in an iPod and Bluetooth. I also need to figure out the best way to hold an iPhone so I can see it. Searching the threads now.

I have a 2005 C2S and to get bluetooth I wired in a iSimple Solutions TranzIt BLU HF ISFM2351. I use it for handsfree phoning and music streaming with my Google Nexus 5.

For physical mounting, the car came with a factory phone setup so the passenger side console trim panel had the handset mounting gizmos. I removed the the factory handset cabling. Then cobbled a Car Mount, Ipow One Touch Release Universal Cd Slot Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle to the factory handset mounting surface. It's a bit far away for my old eyes but I can live with it.

Transit BLU here too. It's awesome. I think it's Rennlist that has a thread on how to install it yourself.

Anyone know if the Transit BLU can be wired into an 02 996 with the CR-220 head unit?
