996 oil leak

Hey I have a mk1 996 and it seems to have a bit of a drip coming from the left side of the motor. Nothing significant dripping but something none the less. Any ideas of what it may be. I found a pic on google of what it looked like but the app won't allow me to post it

Depending on the mileage it is probably either the spark plug tubes, the variocam solenoid, or the cam cover itself.

Here is the Spark Plug replacement, which includes the coil removal

Youll see the spark plug tubes in figure 6, these can be replaced by removing the coils and spark plugs...cam cover can stay in place.

Could also be leaking from a bolt, you just have to look and see. Let me know what you find!
