How to know when its time to replace clutch

Hi- I have a 99 C2 with 95k, the clutch has about 65k due to a previous replacement. It is a little sticky to find 1st, other than that-no issues, and no slippage.
What are the symptoms that lead to a clutch job on these cars?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Besides slippage or noise, normally you would see a change in the clutch engagement point as well as an unexpected increase in the pedal effort.

As above - but note that increased pedal effort may also be an issue with the clutch helper spring.

Maybe also consider clutch judder/chatter as a warning sign.

If I remember right, my clutch went at closer to 100k miles.

If it's worn it will initially slip in high gear under load (like going up a hill). As it gets worse you will start noticing it slipping in lower gears.
