Porsche Crest Horn Not Sounding

2000 996 Coupe has a horn that beeps perfectly when I use my key to alarm the car. However, when I push on the airbag the horn does not sound. Even when pushing hard, the air bag does not budge forward or give in anyway to indicate that it is being compressed. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Two different horns. The alarm horn is under the cowl by the battery. The driving horns are under the front bumper cover. This is a video showing changing horns on a Boxster. The 996 has two screws behind the marker light. One that is easy and one under the wheel well cover.

Probably need new horns. Pretty common problem. Once you get the bumper off, check voltage at the connectors to the horns and if you have voltage replace the horns...

Here is a link to the horn page...
