997 brake line question

2005 997 C2, when you remove the brake line from the caliper, what do you cover the end of the brake line with so it does not leak? Tape, if so does it matter what kind? If not tape, do you have a recommendation?

Thanks!

A 3mm vacuum rubber cap also works well.
