New (For me) 991

Well I moved on from my 997 S, and stumbled into this CPO 2014 (Normal) at the local dealer. It was love at first sight and it's now in my garage. I was a manual transmission purist but have finally gone to the dark side with PDK. My local PCA friends have always insisted that I will never go back to manual and they are probably correct.
The 991 normal does not have the torque of my S, but makes up for it with the PDK. This is a one owner car with 12K miles on it. It was purpose built the way I would want it if I ever built one as a new car. No sunroof, Standard interior, 20" wheels, Sport seats, sport exhaust and aero cup package.
Wanted to share a few photos.

Beautiful! Congratulations. How do you like the PDK vs. manual?

PDK vs. Manual

I had driven a Cayman S with PDK last Summer and really liked it. That was really my only experience with it. As a long time Porsche owner, I always loved shifting. My 997S has a beautiful transmission that shifted fantastic.
Once I test drove the 991 with PDK I felt like I cam out of the stone age. Hard to not love new technology! Not sure I will ever go back to manual.

Very interesting input. My friend who drives for PEC in LA is all about the PDK on the 991 too. I am all about manual, but I'll have to track down a PDK to test out. Thanks for sharing your input on the difference.

I would drive a PDK if I track the car. But, for anything else, I prefer the manual. I have tested my preference many times, I go back to manual every time.
