Love this thread, especially since this is the car I'm looking at as my first 911 purchase.

Question: I know about the ruckus with the headlights design. I don't mind it so much, frankly. However, I was curious. Considering how so many people don't like them, I'm surprised no aftermarket company hasn't stepped up to offer some kind of retrofit kit to fix the look. Anything to that?

We offer the Variel Design headlight conversion covers which seem to be quite popular. The "fried egg" design really has grown on me over the years.

This thread is making me really want a 996.. welp back to work.
