Tiptronic rants

Damn it. I crawled under the car last night trying to check the Tipt fluid level while the engine is hot. The tiny little fill allen plug gave up and stripped the hole where the socket fits. Now I have to FIND a freaking plug, then DRILL the effing old one out.

!@#$%^&*()(*&^^%$$@#@ effing Mercedes engineers. Why can't they put a big ass fill plug in with a regular hex head?

On a serious note, Pelican sells a Mercedes Tiptronic Dip Stick for an outrageous $85. What the hell does that do, and where does it even fit?
