996 Hardtop Problem

Hello All, I am hoping there is someone that can help me. I have a 2000 996 911 Cab with the hardtop. When I went to install it, I realized it is missing a part that I will call the bullets.

I have attached a picture.

my top has all of the black part but not the silvery part, it just has threads at the end. Does anyone have these silver threads or no where I could get them? Maybe someone has a badly damaged top, etc.

Steve

You might try a Porsche dismantler. (Partsheaven, DC Auto or Weekend Rides)

Your top has the updated hold downs. They screw into updated receivers. These were updated/changed by Porsche ~MY 2005 to eliminate noise. You should consider buying the redesigned receivers for your car rather then backdating the bayonets on the top.
Try EBay or ??
This is the whole retrofit kit.

It looks like Pelican blocks competing?? Retailers. That link was to Suncoast Porsche.
Google for “Porsche 996 hardtop installation kits” or “Hardtop receiver mounts kit #pk997htm”

Has that top ever been mounted on your car? If so the whole system may have been updated. Check the receivers in the car.
