When you use an air lift vacuum tool is there an over flow pipe in the coolant reservoir that you have to block to stop it building up pressure

Thats the instructions for doing it using the bleeder valve.i am doing it with air lift tool

I replaced the rads on my 2000 and drained the block with the drain screw. I did not pressurize the remainder of the fluid out. I also did not gravity feed the block as most say to do before pulling the vacuum. I just filled the system per the airlift instructions. Just put the rubber stopper in the fill. There is a metal tab that is right behind the cap on the resi that u can lift to release system pressure but u dont mess with it.

I did have to top off the system a few times after driving
