Air con

Porsche 996 c4s Air con getting no power.
When you push button Fans don't come on nor does compressor
All four relays ok
fuses D6/C7/E7/C10 ALL OK
Compressor ok when jumped with live wire,
Temperature unit you press for air con ok as swapped with other car.
Is there some sort of sensor stooping it coming on ? .Because when press air con button no power goes to four relays or compressor relays as no clicks when put fingers on them

There are two: Low/high gas pressure switch and a thermal override switch.

Before fussing with the sensor switches, have you tested the systems pressures? If the gas pressure is either too low or too high, the sensors will never let the system run.

Hi
The pressure should be right as i had to new condensers and a dryer three years ago,Anyway went to have it topped up but they could not re gas as the machine said there was a problem with the system.I assumed the problem was because compressor wont turn on because some sort off sensor stopping it

I still would not be pulling out sensors until I knew what the actual pressure is; by far, most non run situations we see are due to low gas.

Then you need to get ahold of a factory service manual and start diagnostics on the sensors.
