Parking on Incline

Hi Folks
Quick check in for some feedback on car storage.

I moved my car to an area that has and incline. I would estimate the the grade would be approx 6" -12" lower front to back

Question ? should I store the car "rear end" down hill. or " nose" down hill.

My thought "rear" down hill, as less pressure / oil level ,and related contaminates would be on the RMS/IMS seals.

This storage is not extended (maybe a few weeks at a time between weekend driving ) but might be long term. 3-6 months until we can garage / level store the car.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated - Thank You Mark

.

My money is always on attending to the IMS over the oil seals that generally demonstrate great reliability. Keep the IMS as wet as possible.
Personally, I would always park rear end uphill. Never downhill!

Hint: Just buy one of those to level out the rear wheels.

https://raceramps.com/

Our host sells them and I'd recommend this one so you can get the car level just right. Put a small bubble level on top of the gearbox tunnel to determine when the car is level.

You'll need to park about 18 to 24 inches closer to the sidewalk to give you room to drive forward and remove the race ramp.
