memeory seat question

Hello everyone,
I just bought a new (to me anyways) 2001 Porsche 911, I having trouble resetting the memory seats to link with the remote on the key fob. Every time I unlock the car, it goes to a preset position for the old driver, anybody know how to sync the key and memory for a new driver?

Also, most of the 911’s that I see around has the “Carerra” emblem on the engine cover, my car shows the “911” emblem, does anyone know why this is?

Did you get any answers to your questions? Your owners manual should have the instructions on the seat....but If I remember, you need to push the memory button along with your key fob to get it to set right. I don't have the problem 'cause I'm the only one that drives my Pcar.
The 911 emblem, someone might have just added. Some folks like it better than the Carrera emblem.

make sure you push the seat number and memory at the same time once your seat is set. You also need to make sure the key is turned in the ignition...that should do it.
