After Market HID lights for '99
Any wisdom on the kits I see on eBay? I'm amused by the one that says it's "the good one, not that other bad one". They're a lot cheaper than Pelican stuff, but ...

i bought the "mini" system from a guy in monterey park got it in 2 days, I got the 5k bulbs-I like them
I pulled the headlight assy and on the back of the door there are 3 tabs sticking out, clip those off and the ballast will fit nicely with some goop to hold it. I drilled a 1/2" hole for the wires and gooped that to seal it and it worked fine. took about 20 min ea. and cost was about $28 this was on my '03 ymmv |

I ran a decent HID kit ($150) in my Viper, then a super cheap HID kit ($40) in my M3. There is a difference in quality of light and parts. Both were significantly better than OEM non-HID.
