PCA club race rule on wheel size

I would like to race f stock with a 84 911.
My question is what is the widest wheel allowed and still be stock.

Thanks

Tim

According to the rule book, you are allowed 1 inch wider than stock.
On your car that should be 7's in the front and 8's in the rear. You should be able to fit 225's in the front and 245's in the rear.

Tim, Look in the owners manual for your car and see what the widest wheels that came with the car. You might find they offered 15 inch wheels in 7's and 8's( that was the case with the Carrera). if that's the case you will be able to run 8's and 9's( that's what I run in F stock).

Cheers, James

James

I have an 84 Carrera and it came stock with 6's and 7's but it does list 7's and 8's x 15 so I can use 8's and 9's.

Thanks

Tim

Yes!! That will help a bunch. Just so you know you will have to do some "modification" to the tub in the rear with a 5lb dead blow if you run alot of neg. camber. No biggie though. Also, you might have to do some more in the front too. Every car is different so my suggestion would be to bring the hammer to the track so when you hear some rubbing you can fix the problem.

Cheers, James
