We've all seen the awsome videos from the various Plavens and others on this BBS, most of them seem to be of west coast tracks. I happened to come across these videos from GoGoRacing at LRP, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen and Sebring. Check out the driver of the bright yellow 911 in the vintage clips, he is certainly not sparing the ponys in his laps around LRP and Mid-Ohio.
Makes me wish that it was spring already. ![]()

Thanks for posting the videos, John. I enjoyed the clips from Sebring. It was interesting, seeing the lines that they drove, & comparing them to what I was trying to accomplish. The driver in the video was way better than my attempts. Need more seat time!! Craig

Nice! Mid Ohio was the best time I ever had. Anyone got Lime Rock videos?

I have one at home. How do I make it available?
Nice to see I'm not the only one who brakes in the downhill.

Ram; There are LRP videos on the same page. There is even a (small) ITS 944 video since I know that you're a water pumper yourself. Compared to the yellow, full race, 8000 RPM red-lined 911, you can really appreciate how an ITS spec 944 runs out of breath in the higher revs. Listening to the 944 video, I kept wishing the driver would short-shift through West Bend so that the engine would pull a little harder on the downhill.

Here's another made by a buddy of mine at Mid-Ohio at in the F-Production Run-off race. Note that they are not using the keyhole.
BTW - When was the last time that you saw Lancia Scorpian -- let alone on the track? Chris; who took the video is in an F-Prod 914 1.8. I have to admit that it sounds very cool.

Here are some more videos of East Coast tracks including Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, VIR, and Road Atlanta (not really east coast). Enjoy.
