past porsches? that implies you actually sold one, not me, just keep adding more, I could never let one go.

Too bad for all of you that have multiple of the same color. We went for the patriotic red, white and blue theme. Kind of embarrasing sometimes when you take one in for service, and give the guy a key that says "Blue Porsche" on it. "Oh, you've got more than one, sonny?" Tom ![]()

1973 911- Silver-Autocrosser 1976 912-Black "Her car" (sort of) 1985 944- Gold & blue race car 1985 944-Charcoal- future race car 1984 944-Red-Parts 1985 944-Charcoal- Parts 1987 944S- Burgundy-Parts Only two are at home. The rest she never sees. Probably a good thing. |

LOL. Been there done that. You can see how my income changed over the years. My Porsche story started when I was 18 years old in high school.
1968 912 (Red) (Dad's car but I drove it to school if I kept a "B" average) 1978 924 (Red) 1983 944 (Red) 1987 944 Turbo (Ocean Blue) 1995 993 C2 (Speed Yellow) (Sold to buy engagement ring...dumb move) 1969 911E (Royal Blue- Race car) 2001 Boxster (Black) (Bought after selling fiancé's engagement ring after I broke it off :P ) 1970 911 RS Clone with 2.2S (Red) 1999 996 (Speed Yellow- Aerokit) Now I'm saving for Cayenne (turbo or S....waiting for a good deal to tow race car) and of course a 997. ![]()

Ha! Try talking about them to the uninitiated when they are all the same color and the same year. If the 911 was a coupe, it'd be hopeless. As it is, I can't get people to narrow down the 928 and 944 beyond "red hatchback." Things will be worse next year, when I hope to put turbo twist wheels on all three.
