BMW Novice Class #2 or PCA Skills Day?

I have a schedule conflict, and need some advice from those who have been there. On March 19th, the PCA is doing the next Driver Skills day. By all accounts, it's a great time, lots of learning, instructor time, seat time, the whole works.

The problem is that I signed up to do the BMW Novice class Part 1 and 2 on the 12th and 19th. Part 1 looks a lot like the PCA skills day. Part 2 is a whole day at PRI.

Has anyone done both the BMW classes and the PCA class? Can anyone advise which one I ought to go to? Right now, I'm leaning heavily towards the BMW Part 2 -- time at PRI would probably be more beneficial than a repeat of the weekend before, imho. Am I right?

Thanks in advance for the help,

Dan

I haven't done the BMW class, but a day at PRI is never a bad thing.
If it's a two part class, it's probably more thorough than the PCA day.

PCA skills day is all relatively slow speeds. Enough speed for lots of squeeling tires and lurid slides, but not enough to go careening through the grass into the trees. PRI will probably have much higher speeds by the end of the day.

Which offers more seat time?

Sorry, failed to update. It's a moot question now -- had a rear wheel bearing failure, and had to cancel on Part 1 of the BMW class, which means Part 2 is also out the window. With some luck, PP and UPS will be able to get the new parts here in time that I can still do skills day on the 19th, though.

Thanks for the answer, Dan.
