Is Rampac model 6007 a good harness?
http://www.teamtechmotorsports.com/racingharness/rampac1.html
Hi, Is this a good harness? Barely used. Only wants $200. I only really drive in Driver's Ed events. I just want to keep myself in the seat. Still not sure yet if I'll buy a racing seat yet. Thanks Rod

I may be getting old, but I still buy a new harness setup every two years, from a local race shop (Dave Turner in San Diego) so I can inspect the whole system before I take it home. My buddy Ted, whole rolled his 356 at a race a few weeks ago does the same thing and his belts held him very well, never stretched a bit. My point is, I would get new ones as you can still land on your head at any event.

Personally, I don't buy used safety gear. If the harnesses have been in an accident and have been already stretched, the effectiveness of them is questionable.
Just my $0.42, -Z-man. |
