Looking at some Track Tires

I have a 914/6 that I am looking for track tires. The car is 90% track with a little street time and some Autocross. I trailer the car to the track. I need 17 inch tires. I was looking at the Falken Azenis RT-615 or maybe the Yokahama ADVAN A032R. Any one have any input or suggestions.

I have used the A032r in the past and it is not that sticky. It is not bad, just not that great! Also, it is being discontinued. I am looking at the Falken as well......

Cheers

I am a big fan of the Toyo Proxes RA-1's. May not be as fast as some rubber out there, but it is durable. I got something like 18 track days, and a handful of autocrosses out of them.

I would run the toyos too, but they do not make the front size that I want! I need a 225/45/17 and they do not make it!

Cheers

has anybody run the new Yoko AO48s? I am a big RA-1 fan but will be going to 17 or 18s, and sizes in the RA-1s aren't ideal...

No, I'm not going to Hoosiers. I drive to/from the track and need to get multiple events out of a set of tires

I have heard good things about the A048 from a couple of guys up here who run them. One on a 996 and one on a GT3. They both think they are heads and tails better than the 032r's. I have never driven them, but these guys just loved them.....

Cheers
