Need help selecting rear spoiler, PCA G stock
I need advice on the "best" (most effective) spoiler style to use that meets the PCA club racing rules for G stock class. This is for an 82 911SC with a front IROC spoiler like the one on this silver car (not my car):
![]() It seems that many of the fiberglass rear spoilers replace the rear decklid as well. Is that legal for the stock classes? For reference, the 2006 PCA club racing rules state: F. Spoilers and bumpers/air dams are free providing they do not exceed maximum factory body width by any amount, maximum factory body length by more than 1 inch, or maximum spoiler height of the vehicle by more than 6 inches. (WHAT IS "MAXIMUM SPOILER HEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE"?) I. The addition of any rear wing (not spoiler) to any stock vehicle which could not be added to that year and model as optional equipment (not special order) will cause the vehicle to be classed as “Prepared” and it will progress up one stock class. So what do you think? IROC? RSA? Carrera? Other? Thanks! Jeff

Most of us prefer the IROC or the Carrera tails, primarily because these encourage at least some air to flow below part of the tail.

Thanks Ed! What about an integrated fiberglass spoiler/decklid? Is that ok?
